THE JDLI MISSION

The Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute seeks to identify, recruit, and develop future leaders from throughout Washington who are committed to principled, effective governance that is sustainable over the long term. To accomplish this goal, the JDLI will:

Provide independent instruction in policy analysis and critical thinking.

Provide the tools and develop the skills to deal comfortably and effectively with the media and other audiences through intensive communications training.

Promote a thorough understanding of and familiarity with our governmental institutions and political processes.

Educate and train students in winning campaign strategies and tactics, emerging campaign technologies; and fundraising.

Provide the opportunity to apply and practice the skills acquired through the training program.
